PiktoChart Infographics

Students are learning about the website Piktochart and how they can use it to create their very own infographics.  Students thought about what kind of information would be helpful to shareout in an infographic, and decided that test strategies could be very useful in our school for many students.

Students are using an Infographic Rubric and Piktochart Assessment Form to grade themselves.

Google Presentation

5th Grade Students have been learning about Google Presentations, a feature on their Google Drive accounts.  Students have been learning about the different features of Google Presentation such as themes, layouts, and backgrounds.  They are using the presentation as a platform to show and persuade their audience on different subjects and topics.

Mindmeister

Mindmeister maps allow students to sort and categorize different topics and information. Students can add visuals and connect ideas using the different functions within Mindmeister. Mindmeister can be used for an isolated activity or topic, or can be used as a year-long tool to collect and present information.
